Rahul Gandhi in Chhattisgarh tomorrow
Raipur. Former Congress president Rahul Gandhi will address a major election rally in Surguja district on Wednesday. Rahul Gandhi will come to Darima airport by special plane. From here, he will leave for Jashpur along with Deputy Chief Minister TS Singhdev. After returning from Jashpur, he will address a big election meeting in Katkalo village of Lundra Assembly. Congress has completed preparations for Rahul Gandhi’s meeting in Katkalo. A crowd of Congressmen from across the division will gather at the mini stadium in Katkalo. Extensive preparations have been made in this regard.
AICC Secretary Chandan Yadav, Medicinal Plants Board Chairman Balkrishna Pathak, Labor Welfare Board Chairman Shafi Ahmed, District Panchayat Vice President Adityeshwar Sharan Singh Dev, Congress District President Rakesh Gupta took stock of the preparations. It may be noted that earlier in the 2018 assembly elections, Rahul Gandhi’s meeting was held in Darima between Lundra and Sitapur assembly constituencies. The electoral atmosphere changed after this meeting. Congress had created history by winning all the 14 seats of Surguj division. For the first time in the meeting in Sitapur, Surguja, Rahul Gandhi had talked about waiving off the loans of farmers and giving bonus for paddy, which was completed in the first meeting of the cabinet after the formation of the government.
Senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi will reach Ambikapur airport at 12 noon on November 8 by special flight. Will leave for Jashpur by helicopter at 12.15 pm. Will reach Sanna Sports Ground, Jashpur at 12.45 pm. Will address the general meeting in Jashpur at 1 pm. Katkalo will leave for Ambikapur by helicopter from Jashpur at 2.10 pm. Will reach Katkalo, Block – Ambikapur, District Surguja Airport by helicopter at 2.40 pm. Will address the general meeting in Katkalo at 3 pm. Will leave for Delhi by special flight from Ambikapur Airport at 4.40 pm.
