Railway Minister Vaishnav will go on a three-day visit to Odisha, will visit the Balasore accident site
Bhubaneswar (IANS) | Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav will reach Bhubaneswar on Monday evening on a three-day visit to Odisha. In Bhubaneswar, Vaishnav will proceed to Puri, where he will inspect the Puri railway station in the evening and review the arrangements made for pilgrims in view of the world-famous Rath Yatra, railway officials said.
Vaishnav will also visit the Rath Yatra site in the morning on Tuesday. Later, he will visit Bahnaga Bazar, where the triple train accident took place on the evening of June 2, to interact with the local people.
He will also visit Balasore District Hospital and meet officials of the hospital and district administration. Apart from this, he will inspect and review the development of Balasore Railway Station.
Meanwhile, the death toll in the Odisha train accident rose to 292 after one more injured passenger succumbed to his injuries at the SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack on Sunday.
The deceased has been identified as Paltu Naskar (24) of South 24 Parganas, West Bengal.
