Railway rewards companies operating cranes
Janjgir. Railway workers are in a state of panic due to the ongoing investigation after the Mumbai Mail accident. At the same time, those who did better work in the accident are also being encouraged by the Railway Administration. South Eastern Railway has announced a group reward of 10 thousand each to three different teams operating 140 tonne cranes.
This announcement has been made by the Principal Chief Mechanical Engineer of South Eastern Railway. After the Mumbai Mail accident near Badabambu railway station, 140 crane operating teams of Chakradharpur, Bandamunda and Adra have done better restoration work. The crane team of Bandamunda cleared the rail track on time by removing all the coaches of the accident train from the accident site in a better manner.
The mechanical department of the headquarters has praised the work of the Bandamunda crane team and issued an order to make a document of its photographs and videos, which can help other railway zones in making relief and rescue action plans in such serious situations in the future.
