The main area of rain will remain in Surguja division and adjoining districts. The Meteorological Department has also warned of lightning accompanied by thunder and lightning at 1-2 places. In the last three days, heavy rains have occurred at many places in Korba, Manendragarh, Gaurela Pendra Marwahi and Jashpur districts of the state.
