Rainbow model polling station, third gender voters cast their vote
Kanker. In the first phase of voting in Chhattisgarh, the country’s first rainbow polling booth in Pakhanjoor, Kanker has become a topic of discussion, where third genders voted. When the third gender came to vote, the voting friends welcomed them by showering flowers.

Rainbow Model Polling Station has been set up in Pakhanjoor-3 area of Kanker district, which has the highest number of third gender voters in the district. This model polling station has been established not only to attract maximum voters but also to remove social apprehensions and stigma regarding the third gender.
