Raipur AIIMS doctor committed suicide in his flat

Raipur. A sensational case has come to light from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) hospital located in the capital Raipur. A doctor working here has committed suicide by hanging himself. As soon as the information of the incident was received, the police reached the spot and started investigation by registering a case. This case is of Amanaka police station area.

The deceased has been identified as 26-year-old Dr. A Ravi, who was originally a resident of Andhra Pradesh. According to the information received from the police, Dr. A Ravi lived alone in flat number 221 located in B Block, Harshit Tower near AIIMS campus. Late on Saturday night, Ravi locked the door of his room from inside and hanged himself from the fan.

As soon as the information of the incident was received, the police reached the spot and the body was sent for post-mortem. Prima facie the case appears to be a suicide, although the reasons for suicide are not known at present.
