Raipur police cut challan of 3.5 lakhs in a single night

Raipur. Inspector General of Police Range Raipur Ratanlal Dangi directed the district police to take strict action against anti-social elements, suspicious persons and traffic rule violators to maintain peace and security on Independence Day.

In the same sequence, in a day-long campaign, 350000 ₹ summon fee was reduced from those who violated various traffic rules in a single night and between 12 to 2 o’clock in the night, the Inspector General of Police was personally present and issued various orders against driving in a state of intoxication. Strict action was taken by installing a check point in the police station area, in which action was taken against a total of 25 drivers and the case was sent to the Honorable Court. There was discussion about this action throughout the day and this campaign launched by the IG was highly appreciated. The special campaign launched by the Inspector General of Police will continue continuously.
