Raipur: A case of rape of a woman has come to light in Raipur. The man first befriended the woman on social media. Then he raped the woman on the pretext of marriage. After this, the woman has filed a rape case against the accused in Gudhiyari police station. The accused is currently absconding in this case.
The victim woman lodged an FIR in Gudhiyari police station on Friday that she lives in Pahari Chowki area of Gudhiyari police station area. A few months ago, he became friends with Ravi Shankar Banjare, a resident of Balodabazar. He befriended the woman with the help of social media. After some time passed, the young man promised to marry the woman.
In this case the victim woman is also married. But she lives separately from her husband. Because of this the woman fell into the trap of marrying the young man. After this the accused came to Raipur to meet the woman. According to the information received, the accused kept visiting the woman’s rented house. During this period, have physical relations with the woman several times on the pretext of marriage. Then when the woman did it after getting married. So the accused retracted saying that he was already married. After which the woman complained about the young man to the police.
