Raipur: Thief who entered the house caught on the spot

Raipur. 2 accused of theft have been arrested. According to the information, Netram Chandrakar lodged a report in Police Station Gobra Nayapara that he lives in village Daganiya and does farming and fisheries. The applicant had gone to sleep in his farm house after having dinner at around 09.30 pm on 29.07.2023. There were family members in the house, at around 01.00 the wife of the applicant called him and informed him that a thief had entered the house. Immediately after receiving the information, the applicant reached home, the applicant’s son told the applicant that two thieves had entered the house after hearing the sound. He and the applicant’s son-in-law shouted saying who is there, then the thieves started running towards the courtyard, on which one thief was caught by the applicant’s son and son-in-law and the other thief escaped. During interrogation, the thief along with his accomplice Jitendra Rao Daganiya entered inside the applicant’s house to steal the gold and silver jewellery, mobile phone and cash kept in the cupboard inside the room along with stating his name as Bharat Patel and fled away. During this time he was caught by the son and son-in-law of the applicant and his other accomplice absconded with the entire Mashruka. On which crime number 288/23 Section 457, 380, 34 Bhadvi was registered against the accused in police station Gobranwapara. Offense was registered.

Under the direction of senior officers and station in-charge Gobranvapara, the team of police station Gobranvapara, while interrogating the accused Bharat Patel along with the applicant, his family members in detail about the incident, found every possible hiding place of Jitendra Rao Daganiya, the other accused involved in the case. The accused Jitendra Rao Daganiya, who was involved in the case, was also caught while conducting raids continuously. After arresting both the accused, action was taken against the accused by seizing the stolen gold and silver jewellery, mobile phone and cash amount of Jumla worth Rs.1,10,000/- from their possession.
