Raipur: Two thieves and two buyers arrested, had committed theft in an empty house
Raipur: The thieves who carried out the incident of theft in an empty house have been arrested. According to the information, Purushottam Kariyare lodged a report in police station Kotwali that he lives in village Sankara Dharsinwa and works as RMP Sipt Incharge in Nakoda Ispat Siltara. The applicant had gone to village Bhainsda, Janjgir-Champa in the program along with his brother and family at 08.00 am on 26.08.2023. On 03.09.2023 at 06.00 pm, after coming back home, opening the main door of the house and entering inside the room, found that the lock of the cupboard was broken, the goods were scattered and T.V., T.V.’s receiver was installed inside the room. There was no filled cylinder and empty cylinder and clay piggy bank attached to the stove in the kitchen. An unknown thief had entered the house with the help of a tree adjacent to the applicant’s house, broke the lock of the house and almirah and fled away after stealing the said Mashruka. On which crime number 411/23 section 457, 380, 34 Bhadvi was registered against the unknown accused in police station Dharsinwa. Action was taken after registering the crime.
Under the direction of senior officers, the team of outpost Siltara police under the leadership of station in-charge Dharsiwa and outpost in-charge Siltara started searching for the unknown accused by making detailed inquiries of the applicant, his family and the people around him in relation to the incident. The team members inspected the CCTVs installed in and around the incident site. Along with observing the camera footage, informers were also deployed to trace the accused in the case. Meanwhile, the team members received important information regarding the unknown accused involved in the incident, on which the team members traced and arrested 02 boys, residents of Dharsiwa, who are in conflict with the law. When strictly interrogated regarding the incident, they were revealed to have committed the theft along with selling the stolen material to Ajay Dewangan and Rajesh Diwakar. On which the accused Ajay Devangan and Rajesh Diwakar were also booked under Section 411 IPC for purchasing stolen material by the team members. arrested under.
All four were arrested and TV was stolen from their possession. The receiver and 03 nos. gas cylinders were seized and action was taken against them.
