Raising hands on Harleen was the most difficult scene in ‘Kohra’: Suvinder Vicky

New Delhi (IANS). Actor Suvinder Vicky who will now be seen playing the role of a cop in ‘Kohra’ shared that there were some challenging scenes for which he needed to display his innocence to look natural.

Suvinder plays Balbir, a policeman who tries to solve a murder mystery. At the same time, his personal life is also full of difficulties.

To play his character, Suvinder not only mastered the mannerisms and body language of a policeman, but also tried to get into his emotions while understanding his life.

Talking about the difficulties he faced while playing Balbir, Suvinder said, “The first time I raised my hand was Harleen Sethi. I apologized to her before shooting this scene.”

Suvinder’s character will further appeal to the masses as it will be seen battling the ups and downs of a father-daughter relationship, fighting against the difficulties faced by love. Also, their role reflects the consequences of decisions taken in adverse circumstances.

Keeping the authenticity in mind, Suvinder went a step further using his emotions to deliver a natural performance that was brilliant on screen.

He further added, “The second was my wife’s flashback scene. We had to be a little volatile in that moment. We were really immersed in our characters. We had already decided that if someone gets hurt unintentionally, we would be a- Will apologize to the other. We were completely lost in our roles as the scene demanded.”

Set against the backdrop of Punjab, ‘Kohra’ finds an NRI murdered just before his wedding. Suvinder Vicky is investigating this murder in the series.

‘Kohra’ stars Barun Sobti, Rachel Shelly, Varun Badola among others and will release on Netflix on July 15.
