Sikkim: Students attack teacher in JNV Ravangla

Gangtok Gangtok: Around 15-16 students of JNV, Ravangla allegedly attacked and seriously injured a maths teacher following an altercation on Saturday evening. The teacher is currently undergoing treatment at Namchi District Hospital. According to sources, the attack was a fallout of a heated argument between maths teacher D.K. Kushwaha, who is also the junior house incharge of the school, and students of senior house of classes 10, 11 and 12. The school reported the incident to the police and the students involved have been sent home pending investigation. The culprits involved in the incident are minors.
