Rajasthan: 7 family members killed in collision between car, bus
Rajasthan: In a heart-wrenching incident, seven peoples from a single family were killed in a terrible collision between a car and bus in Banthadi village of Rajasthan. The accident occurred late on Saturday, leaving two individuals, including a child, in critical condition.
The car, which was en route from Sikar, met with the bus at a turn near Titri Chauraha of Banthadi village. Tragically, seven people lost their lives instantly, and two others, including a young child, have been urgently transferred to Jaipur after initial treatment at the Government Bangar Hospital in Didwana.Dharamchand Punia, the Station Officer (SO), provided some insight into the incident, suggesting that the sharp turn in the road may have contributed to the drivers not seeing each other in time to prevent the collision. A thorough investigation is underway to determine the exact circumstances.
The deceased were residents of Sikar district, and belong to the same family. All the people were going from Sikar to Nagaur to attend a wedding ceremony.
As news of the accident spread, local officials, including Didwana MLA Chetan Dudi, Didwana District Collector Sitaram Jat, Additional District Collector Sheoram Verma, Deputy Superintendent of Police Dharamchand Poonia, and BJP leader Jitendra Singh Jodha, rushed to the hospital. They have provided instructions to the medical staff for the best possible treatment for the injured individuals.
