Jaipur: As counting of votes gets underway in Rajasthan, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) chief CP Joshi on Sunday said misgovernance and injustice will lose, indirectly referring to the Ashok Gehlot-led Congress.
Initial trends show that Congress is leading in four seats and BJP is leading in one seat in Rajasthan as the counting of votes progresses in the 199-member assembly seats. According to the Election Commission, Rajasthan Congress MLA candidate Amin Kaggi is from Kishan Pole constituency. According to ECI, the initial trends are leading.
He said that the public will bless BJP with full majority. Rajasthan BJP chief told ANI on Sunday, “The public will bless BJP with full majority. Misrule and injustice will be defeated; Good governance and justice will prevail.”
Counting of votes for 199 of the 200 assembly seats in Rajasthan began on Sunday morning after days of intense campaigning by major political parties, including the ruling Congress and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Rajasthan minister and Congress leader BD Kalla said that we will get the mandate of the people of Bikaner and reach the assembly.
He said, “I can say that I will get the mandate of the people of Bikaner and I will enter the assembly…Congress will form the government again in the state.”
Apart from this, Congress leader Pawan Kheda on Sunday said that the results will be better than our hopes and expectations.

एग्जिट पोल ने राजस्थान में कड़े मुकाबले की धारणा को मजबूत किया है, साथ ही इस महत्वपूर्ण हिंदी भाषी राज्य में विजेता की उनकी भविष्यवाणी में मतभेद है, जहां मौजूदा सरकार को दोबारा न दोहराने की लगभग तीन दशक की परंपरा है।
जहां तीन एग्जिट पोल में भाजपा के स्पष्ट विजेता होने की भविष्यवाणी की गई, वहीं दो अन्य ने दिखाया कि राज्य में अगली सरकार बनाने के लिए कांग्रेस आगे है।
चुनावी वादों के मामले में बीजेपी और कांग्रेस एक-दूसरे से आगे निकलने की कोशिश में लगी हुई हैं।
मुख्यमंत्री अशोक गहलोत (सरदारपुरा), पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री वसुंधरा राजे (झालरापाटन), पूर्व उप मुख्यमंत्री सचिन पायलट (टोंक), राज्य पीसीसी प्रमुख गोविंद सिंह डोटासरा (लछमनगढ़), आरएलपी संयोजक हनुमान बेनीवाल (खींवसर) कुछ प्रमुख चेहरे हैं मैदान में 1,862 उम्मीदवार हैं।
राज्य में वर्तमान में 2018 से अशोक गहलोत के नेतृत्व वाली कांग्रेस सरकार का शासन है। वह 1998 से 2003 तक और फिर 2008 से 2013 तक राज्य के मुख्यमंत्री रहे।
सरदारपुरा प्रमुख निर्वाचन क्षेत्रों की सूची में है क्योंकि मुख्यमंत्री अशोक गहलोत 1998 से इस सीट पर जीत हासिल कर रहे हैं। भारतीय जनता पार्टी ने कांग्रेस के गढ़ से महेंद्र सिंह राठौड़ को मैदान में उतारा है।
इस बीच, वरिष्ठ भाजपा नेता और पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री वसुंधरा राजे, जिन्हें पार्टी के चुनाव अभियान के दौरान किनारे पर देखा जा रहा था, भी मतगणना के दिन से पहले सक्रिय हो गई हैं।
वसुंधरा राजे राजस्थान के झालावाड़ में झालरापाटन से चुनाव लड़ रही हैं, जिस निर्वाचन क्षेत्र का वह 2003 से प्रतिनिधित्व कर रही हैं। राजस्थान में 25 नवंबर को 200 में से 199 विधानसभा सीटों पर मतदान हुआ था। राज्य में बहुमत का आंकड़ा 100 है।
करणपुर निर्वाचन क्षेत्र में कांग्रेस उम्मीदवार गुरमीत सिंह कूनर के निधन के कारण चुनाव स्थगित कर दिया गया।
