Rajasthan CM accuses Haryana CM of non-cooperation in Junaid-Nasir murder case
Jaipur (IANS). Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot attacked the Haryana Chief Minister, accusing him of not cooperating when his team went to Haryana to nab the killers of Nasir and Junaid.
“Rajasthan CM said on Thursday, “Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar makes statements in the media that he will help the Rajasthan Police in every possible way, but when our police went to arrest the accused in the Nasir-Junaid murder case, the Haryana Police did not cooperate. Didn’t.” But registered an FIR against the Rajasthan Police.
He said, “The Haryana Police is not cooperating with the Rajasthan Police in finding the absconding accused.
Gehlot said, “Khattar failed to stop the violence in Haryana and is now giving such statements to divert the attention of the people, which is not appropriate.”
Significantly, Junaid and Nasir went missing on February 15 and a day later their charred bodies were found at Loharu in Haryana’s Bhiwani district. He was allegedly killed by cow vigilantes, who suspected him of illegally carrying cattle. The Rajasthan Police has filed a charge sheet in the case.
