Rajasthan Congress leader Rameshwar Dudi suffered brain haemorrhage, condition critical
Jaipur (IANS). President of Rajasthan Agriculture Industry Development Board and Congress leader Rameshwar Dudi suffered a brain haemorrhage on Sunday.
Rameshwar Dudi, 60, was first taken to a private hospital in Mansarovar. From here he has been shifted to SMS Hospital on the advice of senior doctors of Sawai Mansingh Hospital. Party leaders say that his surgery will be done in this hospital.
Earlier on Sunday morning, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot also reached Mansarovar Hospital to see Dudi. The CM inquired about his health from the doctors and Dudi’s family members.
Dudi’s relatives said that he fainted at home around 9 am and was taken to Mansarovar’s Mangalam Hospital. A team of top doctors from Rajasthan was called here after the Chief Minister’s arrival. Doody is currently on ventilator.
Rameshwar Dudi was the Leader of the Opposition in the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly from 2013 to 2018. He is counted among the tallest leaders of the Congress in the state. Doody is currently the chairman of the Rajasthan Agro Industries Development Board. His ancestral house is in Biramsar village of Nokha.
Hundreds of his supporters have left for Jaipur after receiving information about Dudi’s ill health. His supporters are praying for his speedy recovery. Dudi has also been an MLA from Nokha.
