Rajnandgaon police took action against those selling illegal liquor
Rajnandgaon. Under the direction of Abhishek Meena, under the guidance of Additional Superintendent of Police Lakhan Patle, under the supervision of City Superintendent of Police Amit Patel, action is being taken against illegal sale/transportation of liquor in Lalbagh police station area. On 13/09/2023, on the basis of informer’s information, under the leadership of Police Station Incharge Inspector Santosh Bhuarya, Lalbagh Police took possession of the accused Ratanlal Sinha, father Bhagirathi, age 58 years, in Village Dhangaon, Sakin Village Dhan Village, Police Station Lalbagh for illegally selling liquor. On being found, 60 paua Goa English liquor worth Rs. 7200/- and sale amount of Rs. 150/- were seized from the possession of the accused.
On being found in illegal sale/possession of liquor by the accused, crime number 374/23 was registered against the accused in Police Station Lalbagh. Legal action was taken against the accused by invoking Section 34 (2) of the Excise Act. In the said proceedings, the role of S.U.N. Champesh Thakur, R. 1470, Kishore Yadav, R. 1415, Bhupendra Verma was commendable. On 13/09/2023, on the basis of informer’s information, Lalbagh police under the leadership of station in-charge Inspector Santosh Bhuarya arrested the accused Somesh Manikpuri father Dinesh Manikpuri, aged 24 years, in village Rivagahan, Sakin village, Indamra police station Lalbagh, for illegally selling liquor. On being found, 55 pauvas of country plain liquor worth Rs. 4400/- and sale amount of Rs. 200/- were seized from the possession of the accused. On being found in illegal sale/possession of liquor by the accused, crime number 375/23 was registered against the accused in Police Station Lalbagh. Legal action was taken against the accused by invoking Section 34 (2) of the Excise Act. In the said proceedings, the role of UP Dhaneshwar Dhruv P R 1470 Kishore Yadav R 1077 Tameshwar Verma was commendable.
