Ranchi Civil Court fined Rs 500 on Ameesha Patel

Ranchi’s civil court has imposed a fine of Rs 500 on film actress Ameesha Patel. During the hearing in the case of check bounce and fraud against Ameesha, the date of cross-examination was fixed for Wednesday. A witness was presented in the court on behalf of Ajay Singh, who filed the case. The court asked Ameesha Patel’s counsel to cross-examine and cross-examine the witness, but sought time for the same. After this, the court fixed August 7 as the next date of hearing while imposing fine on him.
It is noteworthy that in this case going on in Ranchi court, film actress Ameesha Patel had surrendered in the court of DN Shukla, Civil Judge Senior Division of Ranchi Civil Court on last 17th June. After the surrender, the court granted him bail on two bail bonds of Rs 10,000 each. Argora resident Ajay Kumar Singh had filed a case against Amisha in the CJM court on November 17, 2018. He had alleged that Ameesha Patel took Rs 2.5 crore from Ajay Kumar Singh in the name of music making but he did not take any step in this direction. Later, Ameesha took 2.5 crores for film making as well.
As per the agreement between both the parties, when the film did not release in 2018, Ajay Singh asked for the money back. Later, after much procrastination, Ameesha gave two checks of Rs 2.5 crore and Rs 50 lakh, which bounced. After this Ajay Singh sued Ameesha Patel.
