Rape by mixing sleeping pills in food, accused arrested

Janjgir-Champa: Shivrinarayan Police has arrested the accused cousin who raped a minor cousin 54 days after the FIR and has sent him to jail in judicial custody. In the case, the police have registered an FIR against the accused under Section 376 (Ch) and POCSO Act 4, 6. The accused cousin from Raipur was arrested on the basis of mobile location.

In fact, the victim came to the police station on August 20 and lodged a report that her cousin brother, resident of Tundra in Balodabazar district, had raped her by mixing sleeping pills in the food. The accused had absconded after the incident. With the help of cyber cell, police have arrested the accused from Raipur on the basis of location and sent him to jail.
