Rashmika won her first ITF title in the Women’s World Tennis Tour

Bengaluru (ANI): Srivalli Rashmika Bhamidipathy graduated from national champion to international champion as she defeated Zeil Desai to clinch her maiden ITF title along with Bowing Institute ITF Women’s World Tennis Tour honours.
In a thrilling final before a packed audience at the Bowing Institute Court here on Sunday, Rashmika lost a set before emerging a 6-0, 4-6, 6-3 winner.
Rashmika took home the winning check of USD 3935, but more importantly, she earned 50 WTA points which can help her move up in the WTA rankings. Zeil won US$2107 and 30 WTA points for her bridesmaid finish.

As winds played a crucial role, especially when players were serving, especially for Zeel, who was finding it difficult to control the ball and found herself 0-3 down, Rashmika made good use of her strong forehand and Played some great cross-court shots. To which Zeel had no answer.
