Records of 2.5 lakh IDs reached Police SIT in fraud case
Shimla: The Special Investigation Team (SIT) has recovered a record 25 lakh IDs in the Himachal Pradesh cryptocurrency scam case. Now the investigation of these people has started. These birth certificates also include the names of politicians, entrepreneurs and civil servants. At the same time, Director General of Police (SIT) and DIG Abhishek Dolal will give information about the investigation to Director General of Police (DGP) Sanjay Kondo. The DGP will also hold a video conference on Saturday and get updates from DIG Abhishek Dhola. The DGP has ordered to arrest all the suspects involved in the incident.
SIT has arrested 10 suspects so far, but the main suspect Subhash has fled to Dubai. The process of bringing them to Himachal has started. The SIT believes that the scam is worth around Rs 200 crore. The defendants have been cheating people for the last three years. Some people get deceived into thinking that they will double their money by investing in digital currencies. Police investigation revealed that 250,000 birth certificates had been made so far. These also include representatives of digital currencies. It is noteworthy that the SIT police had received the identity documents only three days ago. It contains information about all the people who invested money and those who embezzled the money.
