Retired head constable of IB shot dead, sensation spread

Bulandshahr. On Monday evening, bike-riding miscreants shot dead a retired IB head constable near the gate of village Bhainsroli Nasirpur in Salempur police station area of Bulandshahr. The miscreants fled after committing the crime. Police officers are suspecting a murder due to rivalry. The forensic team has also collected many evidences from the spot. The incident report had not been filed till the time of writing. In the past, three brothers and father of the deceased had also been murdered.

Rambhul Singh (75 years), son of Risal Singh, resident of village Bhainsroli Nasirpur, was a retired head constable from IB. On Monday evening, Rambhul Singh was returning home in a tractor-trolley after selling paddy from Bulandshahr grain market. A young man from the village was driving the tractor. The young man’s father was sitting on the tractor. It is said that when his tractor-trolley came near the gate of village Bhainsroli Nasirpur, four miscreants on two bikes took out weapons and started firing indiscriminately at Rambhul Singh.

Rambhool died on the spot due to multiple bullet injuries. After this the miscreants fled. On receiving information about the incident, SSP Shlok Kumar, SP Dehat BB Chaurasia, CO Shikarpur Dilip Singh and police station in-charge Salempur Pammi Chaudhary and other officers reached the spot along with the police force.

Police have also recovered some shells from the spot. Police officers took information from nearby people regarding the incident, but no important clue could be found. Police station in-charge Pammi Chaudhary said that during the investigation, there is a possibility that the incident may have been carried out due to rivalry. The Panchnama of the dead body is being filled and sent for postmortem.
