Retired IFS also joined BJP in Raipur
Raipur. Biggest entry in BJP so far. First Congress, then three-time MLA Dharamjit Singh from Jogi Congress, retired IFS S S D Badgaiya and Dharmendra Giri Goswami joined BJP. He was made a member by Union Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya, State President Arun Saw, former CM Raman Singh. Dharamjit Singh said that joining the world’s largest party BJP is a moment of great pride for me.
It was discussed for many days that Dharamjit Singh may adopt the stand of BJP. Even in the assembly, he was often seen with the MLAs of the Bharatiya Janata Party and used to attack the government like them. Finally, he has joined BJP on Sunday.
Tell that till last year Dharamjit Singh was the MLA of Janata Congress, then Amit Jaegi had said, Dharamjit ji was his uncle. But with a very sad heart, this decision has to be taken against him. Amit Jogi had said that MLA Dharamjit Singh has been continuously engaged in weaving the fabric of his personal interest by being in contact with other parties. In the context of these complaints, discussions were also held with MLA Dharamjit Singh many times in the past but there was no change in his conduct and thoughts.
Dharamjeet Singh won the election on the symbol of the party and became MLA. He was expelled from the party for 6 years for abandoning the policies of the same party and trying to eradicate the regional ideology of Chhattisgarhism. It was also feared that Dharamjit Singh would merge the party itself with the BJP. It was learned that while taking action, the party had expelled its Legislature Party leader Dharamjeet Singh from the party for 6 years.
