Betting app case.. Manchu Lakshmi appears before CID inquiry

 Actress Manchu Lakshmi appeared before the CID in Hyderabad on Tuesday in connection with the promotion of banned betting apps. Upon reaching the CID office in Lakdikapool, the officials are questioning her at length about the remuneration and commission transactions she received for promoting these apps. Earlier, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) had also questioned her in the same case, and now the CID officials are collecting more details. It is known that in the past, Tollywood famous actors like Vijay Deverakonda, Rana Daggubati, and Prakash Raj have also appeared for questioning in the same case. The investigating agencies have taken this case seriously in the wake of allegations that common people are falling prey to these betting apps due to the promotion of celebrities.
