Bengaluru Man Killed His Wife A Week After She Sent Him A Divorce Notice

Bengaluru: A husband killed his wife for giving her a divorce notice. The incident took place in Bengaluru today. The accused has been identified as Balamuragan and the victim as Bhuvaneswari. The husband killed his wife within a week of giving the notice. It is understood that four rounds of firing were fired. After killing his wife, the husband surrendered at the police station. Balamuragan, 40, is a software engineer. Bhuvaneswari, 39, is an assistant manager at Union Bank. The couple got married in 2011. The couple shifted to Bangalore in 2018 after her husband got a job. Their hometown is in Salem district of Tamil Nadu. The couple has two children. However, due to problems in their marital relationship, they have been living apart for the past year. Bhuvaneswari has a child in Rajajinagar. However, her husband suspected that she was in a relationship with someone else. This often led to arguments between the two.
A week ago, Bhuvaneshwari had issued a divorce notice to her husband. The case was pending in the court. On Tuesday, the husband, who noticed his wife’s movements, attacked her as soon as she returned home from the office. He fired four rounds at her at around 6.30 pm. She was rushed to Shanbaug Hospital. But she died on the way due to severe injuries.
An investigation is underway in this case. They are investigating where the gun came from.
