RTC workers’ semi-nude demonstration in Nallagonda
On the call of the TGSRTC JAC State Committee, RTC workers organized a half-naked demonstration on Monday under the auspices of the Nalgonda Depot JAC, opposing the policy of private electric buses. On this occasion, they held half-naked demonstrations while chanting slogans like Go Back Go Back – EV buses go back.. Only RTC buses should be in RTC places.. Only RTC buses should be driven by RTC staff.. Private EV buses should be removed from RTC places.. No, no, no, no – private buses.. No, no JAC state leaders B. Narender and Basani Venkataiah, district JAC leaders NRC Raju and TJ Rao, depot JAC leaders AL Swamy and MD Anwar, SC and ST Nalgonda district presidents and secretaries KL Nayak and Kadiyam Ramesh participated and spoke at the event.
They demanded that the government should purchase EV buses and give them to the RTCs and run them under the auspices of the RTC. They expressed their anger that the Congress government would completely weaken the organization by taking private EV buses, handing them over to private companies, and not making new appointments. They criticized the RTC workers for delaying the implementation of their just demands and the issues put forward in the manifesto. They said that the state JAC had given a strike notice against the policies being followed by the government and management towards the RTC workers, and called on them to participate in all the struggles being organized under the auspices of the JAC and make them successful and achieve everything.
