Ruchira Kamboj presiding over the 62nd United Nations Social Development Commission meeting
New York: India’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations Ruchira Kamboj on Monday chaired an intensive member-state briefing to prepare for the 62nd United Nations Commission for Social Development in February 2024.

The 62nd session of the Commission on Social Development (CSocD62) will take place from 5 to 14 February, 2024 in Conference Room 4 at the United Nations Headquarters in New York. The main responsibility of the Social Development Commission is to periodically review issues related to the follow-up and implementation of the Copenhagen Declaration on Social Development and the Program of Action of the World Summit for Social Development and the outcome of the twenty-fourth special session. the general Assembly.
