Ruckus over rapper Shubneet showing hoodie related to Indira Gandhi, Kangana Ranaut said – ‘You should feel ashamed’
Mumbai: Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut, who played the lead role in the recently released film ‘Tejas’, fiercely targeted Punjabi-Canadian rapper Shubneet Singh.
Actually, Shubh is once again in controversy. A video of the rapper is going viral, in which he is seen flaunting a hoodie during a live concert. It is alleged that the hoodie had a graphic print of the events of the assassination of former Prime Minister of India Indira Gandhi by her bodyguards Satwant Singh and Beant Singh.
An internet user shared a low quality video of the event, in which Shubh is seen flaunting a hoodie. The user wrote in the caption, “Khalistani singer Shubh glorified Indira Gandhi’s killers by wearing a hoodie with the picture and date of her assassination on the map of Punjab in London.” Earlier, when he had posted a distorted map of India, the Congress and the Left ecosystem had fully defended him.
Retweeting the video, Kangana criticized Shubh, writing, “Celebrating the cowardly murder of an old woman by the people whom she had made her protector. When you were entrusted with protection, but you took advantage of that trust and confidence and killed them with the same weapon with which you were supposed to protect them, then this is not an act of bravery but a shameful act of cowardice.
He further wrote, “One should be ashamed of such a cowardly attack on an old woman, who was unarmed and unaware, a woman who was an elected leader of democracy. There is nothing to glorify in this, Shubham ji. be ashamed of.”
