Russia is preparing to launch its mission Moon once again

Russia: The eyes of the world are currently focused on India’s mission Chandrayaan-3. On the other hand, Russia is once again preparing to launch its mission Moon. Russia is taking such a step after almost 50 years. A Russian official gave information in this regard. He said that after a delay of many years, we are planning to launch our moon mission Luna-25 to the moon on Friday i.e. August 11 this week. Russia’s space agency Roscosmos has also confirmed this. Earlier, Luna-24 was launched in 1976 by Roscosmos.
Roscosmos has issued a statement in this regard. It states that the launch will take place on August 11. It will be launched from the Vostochny Cosmodrome, located about 5,550 km east of the capital Moscow. It will be launched through Soyuz-2 rocket. According to reports, for this a village will be evacuated there.
Scientists say that the village comes in the area where the rocket booster can fall for separation. The Russian Space Agency has also told in its statement that the purpose of Luna-25 is to do soft landing testing on the Moon. Collecting and analyzing soil and water samples. Also to do long term scientific research.
About a month earlier, Russian aerospace company NPO Lavochkina, the manufacturer of the Moon lander, had announced that work on the Luna-25 spacecraft had been completed. The Russian Space Agency claims that Luna-25 will be launched on the Soyuz-2 Fregat booster. The lander weighing about 800 kg will be the first lander to reach the Moon’s south pole. Along with this, Russia has also expressed hope that after successful landing on the moon, its lander will continue to work on the moon for about a year.
Significantly, the launch of Russia’s Luna-25 is the first step under its new lunar mission. Russia’s move comes at a time when it is at war with Ukraine. The ongoing war between the two countries has been going on for more than a year. Due to this war between the two countries, there is tension in the western countries and they are very angry with this move of Russia. Amidst the displeasure of these countries, it is engaged in increasing cooperation in space with China.
