Sachin Pilot said this about working for Congress

Tonk: Amidst speculations that Congress will suffer loss due to internal strife in Rajasthan Assembly elections, Sachin Pilot on Monday said that he will remain a soldier of Congress and will continue to work for the betterment of the party.

Speaking to ANI on Wednesday, Sachin Pilot said, “I have always been dedicated to my party and its people and will work strongly for the party in the coming days. I will also work to fix accountability for the newly formed government.” In Tonk.
Earlier, the Election Commission of India on Sunday declared former Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister Sachin Pilot the winner from Tonk assembly constituency. He defeated BJP’s Ajit Singh Mehta by 29,475 votes.

Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot won from Sardarpura seat by a margin of 26,396 votes over rival BJP candidate Mahendra Rathore.

In 2020, the Pilot-led rebellion almost toppled the Ashok Gehlot government. Subsequently, he was removed from the post of Deputy Chief Minister and removed from the post of State Congress chief.

The party has crossed the majority mark by securing 115 seats in the 200-member state assembly. Congress stood second with 69 seats.
