Samsung Galaxy S25 plus powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite spotted on Geekbench, To launch in January 2025
The flagship series of Samsung i.e. Galaxy S25 series will be launching in January 2025 and there are multiple leaks about the device. While multiple rumours have mentioned that the series will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, one of the devices from the upcoming series has appeared on Geekbench. The device was spotted with Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC and we are quite sure about the SoC on-board.
The Samsung Galaxy S25 Plus (international version) appeared on Geekbench with model code SM-S931B. The device offer Android 15 with 12GB of RAM on-board. It scores 2986 on Geekbench’s single test and it scores 9355 on the multi-core test. Even though the score is lower than some Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC devices, it could be a prototype and the retail version will perform better.
Samsung will be launching the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra in last part of January and there are high expectations from the device. Leaks about the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra have surfaced on the internet for quite some time and the possible specs have been hinted. The latest leak has pointed out that the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra will be offering camera sensors that are quite similar to the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra.
According to a leak by tipster, Assemble Debug @AssembleDebug) on X the camera setup on the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra is quite similar to the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra. According to the source, the Galaxy S25 Ultra offers a 200MP Samsung ISOCELL HP2 (1/1.3″, 0.6µm-2.4µm), f/1.7, 23mm sensor for the primary camera, a 12MP Sony IMX754 (1/3.52″, 1.12µm), f/2.4, 67mm 3x telephoto, a 50MP Sony IMX854 (1/2.52″, 0.7-1.4µm), f/3.4, 111mm 5x telephoto and a 12MP Samsung ISOCELL S5K3LU (1/3.2″, 1.12µm), f/2.2, 26mm front camera.
