Jalandhar: The tense situation at the gurdwara ended peacefully after police intervention.

Jalandhar: A tense situation arose briefly this evening at Gurdwara Tibbi Sahib in the area of ​​Ansar police station near Nawanshahr when a group of about 10 to 12 Nihangs from Ludhiana arrived at the gurdwara seeking accommodation for the night.
According to the gurdwara’s caretakers, the arriving Nihangs were allegedly intoxicated. Seeing this, the caretakers refused to provide them with lodging, leading to a heated argument between the two sides.
Police arrived at the scene and defused the situation. The Nihangs were asked to leave the gurdwara, after which they departed without any physical altercation or damage. No case has been registered.
