Sanatan is our soul: Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar
UP. Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar, who reached Varanasi on Dev Deepawali, said that Sanatan is our soul and if someone challenges it, it will be intolerable. After dedicating the wonderful Namo Ghat to the nation in Varanasi on Friday during Dev Deepawali, he said that Sanatan has always given the message of world peace. Its origin is contained in Kashi. In view of the situation today, every Indian will have to take a pledge to protect Sanatan.
This is not the responsibility of any one person or a government. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that Ganga has become uninterrupted and pure due to the efforts of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Today its water has become drinkable with a sip.
President Dhankhar arrived here in the afternoon on a five-hour Kashi visit with wife Sudesh Dhankhar. He said that Sanatan is holistic and includes everyone. This is the basic spirit of Sanatan and we should have faith in it. The Vice President said that Indian culture is unique in the world. Its roots are very deep. Our sages have said that cultural roots are the basis for building our present and future. Sanatan is a reflection of national religion. We are Indians and national interest should be paramount for us.
