Sangrur: 2 people arrested with banned items

Sangrur: The district police arrested two persons with drugs and registered a case against them under relevant sections of the NDPS Act. Sangrur police recovered sulpha from a man resident of Sangrur, while Lehra police recovered heroin from a man resident of Lehal Kalan village in Lehra. Meanwhile, a team led by ASI Beant Singh arrested Bhinderpal after the officers found a transparent plastic envelope in his hand. The police seized the envelope, which contained 5 grams of heroin.
