Saptami Gowda protests against taking inappropriate photographs of women at public events

Entertainment: Actress Saptami Gowda, known for her roles in Kantara and the Telugu film Thammudu, has strongly criticized cameramen for zooming in on her body parts at public events.

Speaking with fellow actors, Saptami shared a note urging photographers to stop capturing women from inappropriate angles, expressing concern about the widespread circulation of such images and videos on social media.

She wrote, “Time and again, videos and photos of female actors at public events are taken and shared from inappropriate angles, focusing unnecessarily on our bodies rather than our work. This behavior by some is disrespectful and unacceptable.”
Sources have revealed that Saptami was particularly upset by the paparazzi’s use of certain angles during her recent shows. Previously, Bollywood and Tollywood actress Ayesha Khan had also warned photographers against shooting her from behind at public gatherings.
