Sarpanch arrested, committed hooliganism in power plant
Bilaspur. The police has arrested the Sarpanch for committing hooliganism by entering the Rashi Power Plant located in Bilaspur district of Chhattisgarh. The same other person is absconding.
It is being told that he was threatening the workers and employees and asking them to stop the work and not only this, he suddenly cut off the electricity supply of the power plant and also closed the plant. After this, the director of the plant complained about this in the police station.
The police took action on this and arrested the Sarpanch. The same other person is absconding. The matter is of Masturi police station area.
According to the information received, this incident occurred on October 2. It is being told that the Sarpanch along with his other associate Chandrapal Sahu had forcefully entered inside the Rashi Steel Power Plant located at Paraghat on Monday, threatening the employees and laborers and asking them to stop the work and not only this, the power plant’s electricity was also cut off.
The plant was also closed by suddenly cutting off the supply. Due to which the lives of the employees and laborers working there came in danger and the production also came to a standstill due to the sudden closure of the plant due to sudden disconnection of the electricity connection. After this, plant director Vivek Khemka lodged a complaint in the police station on 7 October. The police took action on this and arrested the Sarpanch. The same other person is absconding.
