School van overturns in Dindigul; 10 students injured; accident caused by driver losing control.

Tamil Nadu Tamil Nadu: A tragic road accident took place in Dindigul district of Tamil Nadu on Friday, when a private school van lost control and overturned on the roadside near Vedasandur. About 10 students were injured in this accident, who were immediately admitted to the nearest hospital.

According to the information, a private school operates on Vadamadurai Road in Vedasandur. Like everyday, on Friday also the school van had gone to Marambadi village to bring the students. From there the van carrying 15 students was returning towards Devgoundanapatti. Meanwhile, near Kottayamandhai area, the driver suddenly lost control of the van, after which the van overturned on the roadside.

After the accident, there was chaos on the spot and local people immediately reached there for help. People pulled out the children trapped in the van and admitted the injured to a private hospital in Vedasandur for treatment. According to doctors, all the injured are undergoing treatment and the condition of some children is said to be stable.

The driver driving the van has been identified as 30-year-old Raja. According to preliminary information, the accident occurred due to loss of control of the vehicle, although it is not clear how the control was lost. Police have started investigating the matter and the actual cause of the accident is being ascertained.

After the incident, a huge crowd of people gathered in the area and traffic on the road was also affected for some time. The local administration and police team reached the spot and controlled the situation.

This accident has once again raised questions on the safety and fitness of school vehicles. Parents have also demanded the school administration to take strict steps regarding the safety of children. Police officials have said that only after investigation it will be clear whether the accident was the result of negligence or technical fault.

At present, treatment of all the injured students is going on and the administration is continuously monitoring their condition. After the accident, there is an atmosphere of concern in the area and people are demanding increased vigilance regarding the safety of children.
