Scindia praised the government led by Shivraj Singh Chouhan
Gwalior (ANI): Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia on Wednesday said that whenever Congress was in power in Madhya Pradesh, it never thought about the development of women. He said the Shivraj Singh Chouhan-led BJP government launched several welfare schemes to ensure their progress.
Speaking to ANI, Jyotiraditya Scindia said, “Congress never thought about women. He ruled Madhya Pradesh for 55 years and then for 18 months, but what did he do? Shivraj Singh Chouhan brought ‘Ladli Lakshmi Yojana’, ‘Scooty Yojana’, he also started Kanyadaan Yojana and Laadli Brahmin Yojana. We have ensured that the girl child has holistic development at all stages of life.”
On the opposition’s allegation that the ED and CBI are being misused by the BJP during the elections, Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia said, “Based on what they are saying, I don’t know, if anything goes wrong then the investigating agencies will Will investigate.” Definitely look into it.”
Earlier today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also targeted Congress and said that the party has no vision for the development of Madhya Pradesh.
“In the rallies I saw how upset the people of Madhya Pradesh are with the dynastic politics and negativity of the Congress. Congress neither has any vision nor any roadmap for the development of Madhya Pradesh. I urge all the voters of Madhya Pradesh to choose BJP, choose Kamal. A developed Parliamentarian, for a developed India,” PM Modi wrote in a post on X.
The Prime Minister also praised the women of Madhya Pradesh for their active participation in the elections.
The PM said, “The women power of Madhya Pradesh is coming forward and hoisting the BJP flag in this election. Just as women empowerment is the priority of BJP, similarly women have made up their mind to bring BJP government again.”
Earlier on Monday, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi reminded people of the previous election results and said that the public had voted for the oldest party in the 2018 assembly elections, not for BJP.
Rahul Gandhi emphasized that the present Shivraj Singh government is not the choice of the people but is the result of deception and manipulation.
“You (the public) did not choose BJP in the last elections. Always remember, it was Congress that came to power. This government is built on deception and fraud. This government is not yours. This government has been formed by cheating.” Your eyes,” Rahul Gandhi said at an election rally in Bhopal.
Madhya Pradesh is one of the five states going to polls in a single phase on November 17 and counting of votes will take place on December 3. Voters will elect MLAs from 230 assembly constituencies. (ANI)
