SDM’s driver was drunk, ran over a student
Gariaband. A tragic accident took place in Devbhog of the district, where a first class student going home after school was hit by SDM’s government vehicle. The child has been seriously injured in the incident. His treatment is going on in the hospital.
According to the information, Devbhog SDM Tulsi Das Markam was on duty this afternoon. Ahead of the bus stand, a government vehicle hit the student, due to which the student was seriously injured. After the accident, the passersby present there immediately took the injured child to the hospital. SDM also reached the hospital shortly.
In the case, police station in-charge Gautam Gawade said that the doctor has confirmed alcohol. The blood urine test report is yet to come. At present, a case of negligent driving has been registered against the accused driver.
