Raipur. Secretary of the Health and Family Welfare Department, Siddharth Komal Pardeshi, conducted a surprise visit to Kabirdham’s District Hospital at night on Sunday. During the visit, he personally examined different wards and sought feedback from patients regarding their treatment. Mr. Pardeshi also inquired about the doctors and staff on night duty. The District Collector, Janmejay Mahobe, briefed them about the facilities available in the hospital. Emphasising cleanliness, Pardeshi issued directives for ongoing enhancements in the healthcare services provided by the hospital.
Pardeshi also conducted an inspection of the emergency ward, Special Newborn Care Unit (SNCU), and surgical ward at the hospital. He personally interacted with patients receiving treatment in these wards to assess the quality of healthcare provided to them. Additionally, Pardeshi evaluated the overall facilities of the hospital and interacted with patients and their relatives in the medical ward. He also inquired about the quality of food served to patients. During the visit, Mr. Pardeshi observed the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NRC) and spoke to the on-duty paediatrician about the available facilities. Notable officials, including CEO of Kabirdham District Panchayat Sandeep Agarwal, CMHO-cum-Civil Surgeon Dr. Suryavanshi, and District Program Manager Srishti Sharma, were present.
