Seven cattle burnt alive along with cowshed
Nerva. Seven cattle tied to it were burnt alive after a fire broke out in a cow shed in Khudbi village of Gram Panchayat Ruslah of Tehsil Nerwa. According to the information, on Saturday morning a sudden fire broke out in the cowshed of Mohammad Alam, a resident of Khudbi.
The cowshed was away from Mohammad Alam’s house, so Mohammad Alam came to know about the fire only after some time and by the time the family members reached the cowshed, the cowshed was surrounded by flames from all sides.
The family members tried hard to extinguish the fire, but could not save it from burning and the cow shed was completely destroyed. Two bulls, two cows, two calves and a mule tied in the cowshed were burnt alive.
At present the cause of the fire has not been known. On receiving the information, the Revenue Department team reached the spot and provided immediate relief of fifteen thousand rupees to the affected family. Tehsildar Nerva Praveen Chauhan said that the loss is being assessed by the Revenue Department team.
