Seven youths returning home after morning walk were trampled, two died
Darbhanga. A major accident took place in Darbhanga district of Bihar on Monday morning. In which two people died and five people were injured. After the accident, nearby people rushed to the spot and sent all the injured to a private hospital for treatment. But two youths died before reaching the hospital. Seeing the condition of a young man critical, he was referred to DMCH. Where after first aid, the doctor referred the young man to PMCH Patna for better treatment. After this accident, there is mourning in the entire village.
Actually, the whole matter is near Rampura village on the smooth road from Ashok Paper Mill in Pator OP area. Where seven people from Rampura and surrounding hamlets were returning home after morning walk. In the same sequence, an uncontrolled pickup van ran over seven youths and ran away. In which two youths have died. While five youths have been seriously injured. The deceased have been identified as Nitish Mukhiya and Satish Mukhiya, residents of Rampura in Pator police station area. Both the deceased are said to be brothers. Whereas Raju Mukhiya, son of Subhash Mukhiya, a seriously injured youth, has been referred by the doctor to PMCH in view of his condition.
Abdul Qadir, present on the spot, said that this road goes from Ashok Paper Mill to Chikni and this road is one of the busiest roads, while he said that around 3 to 4 in the morning, children and people had come to run in Kari Baba Chowk. About 100 meters ahead, an uncontrolled pickup ran away, trampling all the children. In which children were badly injured and two children have died and one child has been referred to Patna. The remaining four injured people are undergoing treatment under the supervision of a private hospital. On receiving information about the incident, the police of Pator police station reached the spot and are investigating the matter. The bodies of both the deceased have been taken into custody and sent to DMCH for post-mortem.
