Sex racket was running in the hotel, 41 boys and girls caught
Jamshedpur: Jamshedpur Police has exposed a sex racket running in a hotel located in Sakchi of the city. During the raid conducted in the hotel late on Thursday evening, 22 girls and 17 youths were caught from different rooms of the hotel. Many couples were found in objectionable conditions. At present the arrested people are being interrogated. It was told that Jamshedpur City SP Mukesh Lunayat had received information about a sex racket being run from Suvidha Hotel located in Ambagan, Sakchi.
On this basis, a police team was formed and raids were conducted. The team searched each room. Young men and women were caught from most of the rooms. Many objectionable items have also been recovered from the rooms. The hotel owner and several staff have also been detained. It has been told that preparations are underway to send many of these people to jail after interrogation.

About 600 hotels and 180 spa centers were the target of the police, from which about 197 girls, including foreign girls, were freed. These girls were found in objectionable conditions in the rooms of hotels and spa centers. Police took action in the cases and arrested about 90 people. Registered 62 cases. Licenses of hotels and spa centers were cancelled.
Surat Police Commissioner Ajay Tomar said that the hotels and spa centers which were open near schools or colleges were on the police radar. ‘Sex business’ was being run illegally under the guise of a massage parlor. The rescued girls include 52 foreign girls. Surat Police has taken strict action against those hotels where room booking was done without entering the name in the register. Raids against sex racket will be conducted in all the districts of the state. Now action has been taken in Surat. In the coming time it will be done in other districts also. Those who use girls to do business will not be spared.
