Bike rider crushed to death by paddy loaded truck

Raigarh. A young man died in a road accident in the district. The young man’s bike rider suffered serious head injuries after colliding with an oncoming paddy-laden truck. Following the incident, police have launched further investigations. The incident occurred in the Chhal police station area.

According to reports, on Tuesday afternoon, around 1 p.m., near the village of Deurmal, the driver of a paddy-laden truck traveling from Chhal toward Gharghodha, driving recklessly and at high speed, struck the young man riding the bike.

The driver suffered serious head injuries and died on the spot. A large crowd gathered at the scene and the police were informed. The driver fled, abandoning the truck. Police arrived at the scene and began investigating. Based on the Aadhaar card found on the deceased, he was identified as Vijay Uike, a resident of Geevra.
