Shahid Kapoor to star in Malayalam director Roshan Andrews’ action thriller
Mumbai (IANS) | Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor is garnering appreciation for his streaming series ‘Farzi’. He is now all set to star in an action thriller film directed by Malayalam director Roshan Andrews, known for blockbuster films like ‘Salute’ and ‘Kayamkulam Kochunni’. The action thriller film is based on the investigation of a high-profile case. As the police officer digs deeper into the case, a web of deceit and betrayal begins to unravel, leading him down an exciting and dangerous path.
Talking about the film Shahid said: It is difficult to find a script that has action, thrill, drama and suspense all in one script and I am looking forward to it. Roshan Andrews is a seasoned filmmaker with an impressive Malayalam filmography. We have just spent several months together and it will be a pleasure working with such a creative mind. I can’t wait to take this gripping and thrilling story to the masses.
The film will be produced by Zee Studios and Roy Kapur Films. Director Roshan Andrews said: I am thrilled to make my Bollywood debut with this gripping tale and work with such a professional team. As a director, I aim to provide a great cinematic experience to the audience. I am sure this project will make a significant contribution in achieving this goal.
The film will release in 2024.
