Shahrukh-Salman reached CM Shinde’s house for Ganpati worship, Prayag Raj, who wrote many of Amitabh’s films, passes away

Shinde presented a shawl and a bouquet of flowers to both of them as a mark of respect. Also gifted the idol of Ganpati. During this, both the artists got pictures clicked with Shinde. These pictures and videos are becoming increasingly viral on social media. During this time, Shahrukh’s manager Pooja Dadlani is also with him. Salman’s previous film ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’ was a flop, while Shahrukh’s previous two films ‘Pathan’ and ‘Jawaan’ were superhits. Amitabh Bachchan and Anil Kapoor expressed grief over the demise of Prayag Raj Writer Prayag Raj, who was a part of superhit films like ‘Amar Akbar Anthony’ of century megastar Amitabh Bachchan, said goodbye to the world. He was 88 years old. Prayag Raj was suffering from age related diseases. His son Aditya said that he died at his Bandra home at 4 pm on Saturday evening. He was suffering from various heart and age related diseases for the last 8-10 years. Let us tell you that Prayag Raj had also written the stories of Amitabh’s films ‘Naseeb’, ‘Suhaag’, ‘Coolie’ and ‘Mard’. He had written screenplays of more than 100 films. He also wrote some songs as a lyricist. Prayag Raj had supported in writing the scripts of ‘Roti’, ‘Dharam Veer’ and ‘Amar Akbar Anthony’. He also wrote the film ‘Girftaar’ starring Amitabh, Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan. His last film was ‘Jamaanat’ directed by late S Ramanathan. His last rites were performed on Sunday morning. Paying tribute to Prayag Raj in his blog, Amitabh wrote, “Last evening we lost another pillar of our great film industry.” Anil Kapoor wrote on Twitter (x), “I am saddened by the demise of late Prayag Raj. It was my privilege to work with him in ‘Hifaazat’. May his soul rest in peace.” Actress Shabana Azmi wrote, “Saddened to hear about the demise of writer, director, actor Prayag Raj, RIP..
