Shivam murder case: Janata Janardan took the hand of law, set fire to accused’s house and bike
Surat: Even three months after the kidnapping and murder of a 12-year-old child in Kadodara, there is a lot of anger among the local people. On Tuesday, local people went to the house of the accused’s parents and created a ruckus and set a bike on fire. Then he tried to set the house on fire by burning a tire near the door.
As soon as information about the incident was received, the police reached the spot. But the crowd also tried to attack the police by throwing pieces of chilli. The police used mild force to resolve the matter.
Shivam murder case: In September last year, a 12-year-old boy, Amarendra alias Shivam Mahnto, living in Krishnanagar, Kadodara in Surat district, was kidnapped and a ransom of Rs 15 lakh was demanded. When the police became furious, the kidnapper killed Amarendra and escaped. When the police arrested the kidnapper Umang and interrogated him, information came to light that the girl was murdered by Sonu and Monu.
Involvement of five accused: According to the police investigation, the involvement of Sonu alias Vinayak Shriram Yadav, his brother Monu Vinayak Yadav, Umang and two minors resident of Satyamnagar in this murder was revealed. The police have arrested all the five accused including two minors in this crime and started legal action.
Some anti-social elements tried to set fire to the house of the parents of the accused living in Satyamnagar. The police have stopped the rioting elements. The situation is peaceful now. Janata Adalat’s decision: Meanwhile, local residents complained that the families of accused brothers Sonu and Monu should not live in the area. However, the family lived in their home in Satyamnagar.

However, Kadodara GIDC police immediately reached the spot and arrested the arsonists.

However, the situation was brought under control after the convoy of Surat Rural Police immediately arrived. It has been learned that the police have arrested 6 to 7 miscreants.
Police action: Kadodara GIDC police station PI JD Vaghela said that some anti-social elements living in Satyamnagar were trying to set fire to the house of the parents of the kidnapping and murder accused. They set fire to tires and also burnt a bike.
