Guna: Shivraj Singh Chauhan said on Friday that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government to be formed in Madhya Pradesh will never break the public trust and will fulfill every promise.
“With the love and blessings you have given us, I assure you that we will not break our promise at any cost. This is a brother’s promise to his sisters that he will never let darkness enter their lives. There will be no obstacles.” For the development of Raghogarh constituency”, Chouhan said while addressing the public in Raghogarh constituency of Guna district of Madhya Pradesh.
BJP secured a landslide mandate with 163 seats, while Congress stood second with 66 seats.
However, BJP’s Hirendra Singh lost the Raghogarh seat to Bunty Peelaghata Congress’s Jaivardhan Singh by a margin of 4,505 votes.
Meanwhile, Shivraj Singh Chouhan attacked the Congress party and said that they are filled with ‘arrogance’ after winning the Karnataka Assembly elections.
He said, “Congress is filled with arrogance after winning the Karnataka Assembly elections. They forgot that people in Madhya Pradesh shower their love and blessings on BJP. I am on ‘Mission 29’. BJP has to win all 29 Lok Sabha seats.” Garland 29 lotuses for Modiji (Prime Minister Narendra Modi) in the upcoming general assembly elections. The BJP has not yet announced its chief ministerial faces in the states it won – Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh.
Amid suspense over the chief ministerial post, the Bharatiya Janata Party on Thursday announced its central observers in its recently won states – Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh.
“The Parliamentary Board of the Bharatiya Janata Party has approved the central observers of the party in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh,” a party release said.
Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Rajya Sabha MP Suresh Pandey and National General Secretary Vinod Tawde have been appointed as observers in Rajasthan.
In Madhya Pradesh, Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar, OBC Morcha National President K Laxman and National Secretary Asha Lakra have been given the responsibility.
Union Tribal Minister Arjun Munda, Union Minister Sarbanean Sonowal and BJP leader Dushyant Kumar Gautam have been appointed observers in Chhattisgarh.
Meanwhile, on the appointment of observers in their respective states, Madhya Pradesh BJP in-charge Muralidhar Rao said that the party will announce its CMs for the three states within two days.
