Shubhendu’s taunt on Mamta regarding violence, said – this is her democratic model
The phase of violence continues regarding the West Bengal Panchayat elections. Leader of Opposition and Nandigram MLA Shubhendu Adhikari has attacked Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee regarding this. Attacking the Election Commission, Shubhendu said, the State Election Commissioner is working like a supari killer for Mamta Banerjee. Let us tell you that 14 people have been murdered so far during the voting. As soon as the voting for the panchayat elections began at 7 am on Saturday, reports of violence and unrest started surfacing from across the state. Most unrest was seen in Murshidabad. Bombing and firing started here from Friday night itself. The first incident of voting in West Bengal elections happened with the death of Babar Ali. He was attacked with a brick outside the house. Two Trinamool workers were killed in Khargram and Rejinagar.
Regarding the election violence, Leader of Opposition Shubhendu Adhikari said that West Bengal Panchayat elections are a festival of democracy. He called the Election Commissioner a henchman of CM Mamta Banerjee. He said that the entire state is implementing the plans of the CM. Shubhendu said tauntingly that this is his democratic model. Attacking the state BJP said that as expected. No police is present here. So far 2200 complaints have been registered. The Election Commission is nowhere to be seen. Voting took place at night in many places. Here many presiding officers were beaten up at the booth.

He told that till now eight BJP candidates have been kidnapped. Violence continues everywhere. Central leaders of BJP have attacked Mamta’s government. Leaders say that this democracy is running under the leadership of Mamata Banerjee.
