Siddharth Anand prepares 50-day marketing plan for Hrithik and Deepika’s Fighter
Over the past year, Pinkvilla has been the first to provide multiple updates on Fighter starring Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone and Anil Kapoor, directed by Siddharth Anand. The makers completed the shooting of the film in October 2023 and since then, discussions have been going on about the possible date of the teaser launch. And now, Pinkvilla has an exclusive update on the marketing plan of India’s first aerial action franchise.
According to sources close to the development, Siddharth Anand and the team are all set to launch a 50-day marketing campaign for Fighter. “The campaign will begin with a teaser launch in the first week of December. The post-production work and sound mixing is currently in progress and the idea is to take the audience on a ride like never before with the first feature of this action thriller. Both Sid and Hrithik pay very special attention to what is their first communication and they are both focusing on a property that can become the talk of the town,” revealed a source.
Interestingly, two of the best teasers of Hindi cinema in the last decade – Bang Bang and War – are the result of the Hrithik and Sidharth combo and hence, the expectations from Fighter are very high as well. “The plan is to give the audience a glimpse into the world of Fighter through various content that will be released in time leading up to the release of the film. The highlight of the film campaign will be the music album. Each song in Fighter has a different flavor – from dance numbers to romance, celebration, patriotism and emotion – and Sid will open one card at a time. It is planned to align with the social calendar of December and January. In fact, the December party season will begin with Fighter,” said the source.
